Zulutrade Live Trading Update 7/10/2009

Another week closed autotrading the Forex with Zulutrade and some not so good news to report this week. Apparently the signal providers I was using don't manage risk very well, and that is how they have such a high win percentage...so when my margin dropped nearing a margin call I manually closed the trades that were open in the negatvie costing me a couple of thousand pips. So, there is a lesson to be learned here...make sure you use the risk managment tools Zulutrade provides for you, don't trust the signal providers.

After closing the trades, I did some research on a couple of other signal providers and decided to take a new approach, less risky and with less promise of quick gains.

Here are the signal provider reports for this week.

Zulutrade Live Trading Update 7/4/2009

Forex trading has closed for the week and I am back with my review for the signal providers I am using with the wonderful new platform of auto-trading, zulutrade.com

I carried over the 2 signal providers from last week, Hidalgo FX Capital and wintrade, but I also added 1 new one this week, LowessDD.

DISCLAIMER:
Below you will see some losing trades, however, I have discovered that these trades were only losers because the signals were received very late through Zulutrade due to a server glitch or lag. Checking the history of these signal providers indicated that these signals did produce winning trades. It is just one of those things to be aware of that the signals do not always make it through the servers as quickly as they should.

Signal Provider 1. Hidalgo FX Capital
Allowing 5 simultaneous trades with only 1 of each currency pair allowed.
14 closed trades
13 winners
1 loser (see disclaimer above)
Overall profit of 177 pips equaling $177.40 at .1 mini lot.

Signal Provider 2. wintrade
Allowing 2 simultaneous trades
5 trades
4 winners
1 loser (see disclaimer above)
Total profit of 68 pips equaling $136.00 at .2 mini lots

Signal Provider 3. LowestDD
Allowing only 1 trade at a time.
18 trades
16 winners
2 losers (see disclaimer above)
Total profit of 261 pips equaling $529.19 at .2 mini lots

Unfortunately part of any trading strategy is considering the Floating Loss, so here are the trades that are currently open over this weekend, pretty disappointing to say the least.
